Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the active sourdough starter and water. Mix well until combined.

  2. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the mixture, stirring until a sticky dough forms.

  3. Add the salt to the dough and mix well to incorporate.

  4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

  5. Divide the dough in half, and shape each half into a tight ball.

  6. Place the dough balls in separate lightly greased bowls, cover with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let them rest for 4-6 hours at room temperature.

  7. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or a heavy-duty baking sheet inside.

  8. On a floured surface, gently stretch each dough ball into a medium-sized pizza base. Add your favorite toppings.

  9. Carefully transfer the pizzas onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet using a pizza peel or the back of a floured baking sheet.

  10. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Enjoy your delicious homemade sourdough pizzas!
